One New Blog Created Every Second Means Yours Is Irrelevant Unless.

Blogs and the activity of blogging went mainstream a long time ago so much so that these days every 1.5 seconds a new blog is created! Crazy huh? Put another way:

• 7.4 Million blogs were created in the last 120 days

• 1.5 Million blogs were created in the past 7 days

• 900,000 blogs created in the last 24 hours

• 37,500 blogs created every hour

Those are downright scary figures especially if you are just creating a blog today because it is a reflection of the extent of the competition facing you today! So what really made blogs and the activity of blogging so popular?

Why Blogs Became So Popular

Well before blogging became so mainstream and the internet became literally saturated with millions upon millions of blogs, the activity was pretty much restricted to only the truly savvy online marketers (who traditionally set the pace for the rest of the crowd) and the geeks. Once those marketers realized the significant advantages blogs held over normal websites they quickly, quietly and efficiently converted their traditional websites to the blog platform. Here’s why they did it:

1. Blogs are quickly indexed by search engines;

2. A blog is easy to update and add content to frequently;

3. Frequently updating content encourages visitors to return to your blog;

4. You don’t need to know HTML or any other web coding language to manage a blog;

5. Blogs embrace the 2-way conversation interactivity that is so important to today’s business environment;

6. Social Media Websites welcome and are the perfect fit for blogs;

7. Blogs rise up the search engines quickly;

8. It is dead easy to attract web traffic to a blog even if it is brand new;

9. New content added to your blog is instantly viewable and just as quickly picked up by the search engines; and

10. You don’t need to be a web designer or have web designing skills to create a cool and professional-looking blog that stimulates visitor confidence and enhances their interaction.

What those ten attributes listed above so characteristic of blogs essentially mean, is that a blog would invariably and inevitably beat a normal website when it comes to attracting web traffic and attaining exposure! What blogging had fundamentally done was to level the playing field so that even absolute beginners could take on well-established traditional websites that had had thousands of backlinks and been around for several years. What is more not only were blogs competing effectively with them but actually beating them at their own game!

Before long blogs were popping up as the number one listings throughout Google’s index for the most competitive keyword terms! Slowly and surely those traditional websites that had maintained a vice-like grip on the top-spot listings on Google for an eternity slowly lost their rankings to a large number of blogs.

Soon enough the secret was out that blogs wielded a considerable advantage over traditional websites and before long the activity itself had gone mainstream. Now let’s fast forward to the current situation today where the internet is super-saturated with blogs to the tune of a new blog being created every 1.5 seconds!

What 900,000 Blogs Created Everyday Means to You!

It used to be that anybody could virtually blog about anything and were almost guaranteed to attract enough traffic to make enough sales to actually justify it as being worth their while. In such a manner a lot of marketers who had embraced blogging early on were able to dominate a good number of niche markets quickly. But that was then and today, well, is today!

Long gone are the good ole days when you could target a small niche, slap together a few mediocre posts to your new blog and attract sufficient traffic to enable you to make money enough to quit your day job! These days most of those once little-saturated and highly-lucrative niche markets are overcrowded with more competitors than their daily web traffic allotment can possibly handle! What that boils down to is that only the very few, very best of blogs are actually able to make money online from their chosen niche markets.

That also means that if you are just creating a blog today, your blog will surely join the millions of mediocre blogs that never make any headway and are quickly abandoned by their owners unless you…

Make Your Blog Stand Out From The Rest Of The Crowd

To succeed as a blogger you have to make your blog stand out from the many other millions of blogs already proliferating all across the internet. This ironically is actually good news for you because most bloggers have absolutely no idea how to distinguish their blogs from the next guy’s. In fact these days there are two kinds of blogging style, the traditional type of blogging known as Old-School Blogging and the more recent style in tune with the current internet business environment known as New-School Blogging.

The big difference between Old-School Blogging and New-School Blogging is that unless your Old-School Blog is already ranking well on the Google Index, you are going to find it extremely difficult to draw enough attention to make your blog profitable. In other words if you start a blog today and adopt old-school blogging techniques then you are almost certainly guaranteed to fail. Why? Because old-school blogging techniques will not enable you to stand out from the crowd which also means that you cannot possible compete against blogs that have been around for a while and are already well-established.

The biggest flaw that old-school blogs suffered from was an inability to consistently draw significant amounts of web traffic!

However if you create a new blog and adopt new-school blogging techniques, within little time you will effortlessly attract lots of web traffic. Which method of blogging you choose will ultimately determine the level of internet success!

Free Blog Traffic - The Pulling Power Of Articles

OK you've got your nice shiny new blog and you're all ready to make some money on the internet. All you're missing now is some people. No people, no cash, simple as that. Assuming you'd like to be as profitable as possible we'd like that to be free blog traffic, not the paid stuff.

Anybody can invest a few hundred dollars in pay-per-click advertising to get people to their blog. Pure dumb luck will do some of it, tweaking and tuning will improve your figures.

Trouble is most people either haven't got the budget or are plain stubborn and don't want to put their hand in their pocket. Hey, I can dig that - me either! Why pay if you don't have too, right?

So we've got our target, free blog traffic, but how are we going to achieve it?

Probably the single most successful way is article marketing. Write an article like this, submit it to the right websites, people read it and visit your blog. Voila! Lots of lovely blog traffic at zero cost.

That's the principle, and done properly it works very well. There are a few tricks of the trade, like there are with anything else, but you don't need to be an English professor to make this work for your blog. Look at this article. Anything special about the writing? Nope, I'm just an ordinary Joe with an average education. A few hundred words (hopefully well chosen) and it should trundle off into the depths of the internet and do its work.

There are no big secrets about making article marketing work but it'll probably take a while to get good at it. The good news is that even of you're not so hot to start off with it costs you nothing so any free blog traffic you get is better than none!

Actually there is one "secret", you have to keep doing it. If you write and submit ten articles you'll certainly get some traffic to your blog, but then you'll see how it follows that to get more traffic you need to write more articles. A hundred articles is going to bring you many more people than ten.

So do you have to be tied to the keyboard eight hours a day? Doesn't sound like a lot of fun to me!

No, you don't. I actually know one guy who spends about four hours a day at his computer and writes ten articles a day, pretty much every day. He just loves writing articles and he has a six-figure income as a result. A hundred grand a year plus, for four hours work a day isn't bad, but it's only one approach. There are plenty of others.

If you can only write two or three articles a week you'll still get that important free blog traffic, it'll just take you a bit longer. If you're smart, you'll do other things as well to make the most of that traffic and increase your blog profits.

Top Money Making Blog Sites

Blogging is a wonderful hobby to have, not only can you express your views with blogs, but you can also make a healthy amount of money with blogs.

A lot of people believe that the only way they can make money from blogs is to promote or sell products. While that is easily the most profitable way to use blogs, for people that don't want to sell anything you can make money "selling" ad space.

Blog Multiplication Equals Higher Earnings

I just want to ask you one quick question. Are your blogs profitable? I told you it would be quick. It's real simple to answer. Either your blogs are earning for you, or their not. I will tell you something here and I will be blunt. If your blogs are earning you some type of income then you need to listen up. If your blogs are not earning you some sort of income then you DEFINETLY need to listen up. Pay attention close to what I say and maybe the next time someone asks you that question instead of saying yes or no you can say "HECK YES THEY ARE"!

Now I again will be blunt. Some people consider this totally unethical and blackhat. I leave that for you to decide. A vast majority of the people that will tell you this is "blackhat", are not earning "peanuts" from their blogging efforts. The people who have the "Victory or Death" approach are reaping profits only some can imagine to make on the Internet.

So what exactly am I talking about you ask? I'm talking about multiplying your blogging efforts and exploding your Adsense and Affiliate income. Now before I tell you on how to do that, I want to ask you some more questions. First, are your Adsense earnings substantial? Is your Affiliate income coming in at a level that is suitable for you to be satisfied with? Do you keep finding it harder and harder each day to rank for the keywords you are shooting for? Are you having just a tough enough time to get your site or blog indexed? Well, if you answered NO or you replied with a slow YES then keep reading because I'm going to tell you how I get all of my sites and blogs indexed within 3 days. Yes, I get them indexed in 3 days, although I have waited a week before, it's still not long enough for me to get agitated about.

Now, there are a lot of people that will tell you that Blogging and Pinging is dead. I am here to tell you that either they are not doing it right, or they did not have it work for them so they have jumped to the assumption that it does not work. IT DOES WORK! I know it does and so do thousands of other people on the NET. The trick is to not just create 1 blog but to create hundreds of blogs. Yes I said "hundreds" of blogs. Now you might be thinking that creating that many blogs is just insane and too time consuming. Well, you are exactly right about the "time" part. But you are dead wrong about creating that many blogs to be "insane".

For every site or blog I create, I will go and create 50 blogs with links back to my "main" site. I then post to these blogs, ping them and let the search engines coming running through the links back to my "main" sites. I do this all with FREE Blogger Blogs. Yes Blogger is still alive and still serves a purpose. In case you did not know, Blogger is owned by Google and is a sub domain with a Pagerank 10. Imagine links to your main "moneymakers" on a sub domain Pagerank 10 blog being pinged incrementally with whatever times you set. Now just imagine you had 50, 100, or even thousands of blogs with your links to your sites being pinged to tell those feisty Search Engines to "Come have a look".

If you think about it for a minute, it's by far the fastest way to get a site or blog indexed. Now, that we have covered your site being indexed let's go over backlinks. Backlinks play a HUGE factor in determining your site's ranking in the Search Engines. Well, just like we made blogs to get our sites indexed, we can just make more blogs with proper anchor text links back to our main sites. It's that simple people. There is no fluff here.

Using Blogger to get your sites indexed and ranked is practically a No-Brainer. Now we can multiply and expand this issue by using software. Now like I said before, some will deem this unethical and Blackhat. I will leave that for you to decide. You can either keep busting your tail focusing on your Optimization, link swapping, and promoting or you can "jump on the train" and do what so many of us are doing to earn the kind of earnings we are bringing in. There's a simple decision to be made here. Do you want to spend all that time on your site to get indexed and ranking well, only to find that the next algorithm knocks it back down to dirt level. Or do you want the simple, swift, and sweet victory of less work, and MORE earnings faster than you thought possible? I leave this for you to decide.

Blogging - Online Marketing Strategy

For those of you who are new, this is the time to start making money through blogging. Profiting from paid blogging is rewarding not only for bloggers, but for advertisers as well. The controversy with paid blogging is more of an issue of the trust a reader has in the blog they read. One of the great things about paid blogging is that the offers/opps give you some great writing prompts. Well there is no doubt in my mind that paid blogging is here to stay and it will definitely have the potential to create many future bloggers who are paid for their writing. Blogging has becoming a way for regular “Joes to generate an income. Profiting from paid blogging is rewarding not only for bloggers, but for advertisers as well.

It’s there in black and white, no longer a poll has to be taken on how people feel and react to certain topics, for example the War in Iraqi. Read the blogs, that will tell you how true people feel. Blogging provides a name with a voice not just a percentage of a majority or minority. Video blogging or live blogging provides a voice with that name to see the emotion as the person actually feels it.

New products Another way that a company can use blogging to advertise their business is to put the information about new products on their blog. This is a great way to get people interested in what they have to offer and let them know what is going on with the company. Blogging is something that has a lot of great uses. It's something that can allow people to let people know what is going on in their lives and keep in touch with others. It's also something that allows customers to leave feedback for the company and for the company to tell people about their new products.

Beyond merely exposing your website to more people through a blogging traffic campaign or plan you also can create a buzz about your website. Not only can you inform people about your website through blogging, you can get people talking about your website through the implementation of a blogging traffic development campaign and program.

Affiliate Blogging: Making Affiliate Sales With Your Blog Thousands of companies offer affiliate programs for their products online. It gets them a staff of sales people, and the affiliates make money.

Creating an affiliate blog is simple. Pick a product which sells well, and create a blog on the product’s theme. It’s not usually advisable to use the name of the product in your blog’s title, even if you can get the company’s written approval. Your blog becomes more valuable the longer it’s online, and in the months and years to come, you may stop promoting a particular product: this would mean that your blog would be useless if it’s too tightly focused on a single product.

Article marketing is very effective through blogging as well. Informational articles can be posted through the blog, therefore putting fresh content on the site. This can help draw traffic to the blog, therefore showing them the products or services offered by the company. This is a great way to build customers and even market to them without giving them a sales pitch. A little bit of marketing through information that will benefit the reader, is a great way to build a company.

How Can I Make Money With Blogs

Blogging for profit is a goal many people hope to be able to obtain. This endeavor is not out of reach for someone with a willingness to work and who has a knowledge of blogging. Very few people, however, ever obtain the profits they want from their blog because they fail to have a plan.

There are two reasons most people who try to make money with their blogs do not succeed. One reason is that bloggers often think that "if I build it, they will come". This expectation is unrealistic. They often expect their readership to grow immediately and begin producing money just as quickly. This just does not happen. The other reason is that a lot of bloggers fail to have a realistic plan. The key to making money as a blogger is to have a realistic plan and sticking with it. When these expectations are not met, this disappointment often puts an end to their willingness to continue blogging. Some think that blogging is more "work" than they thought it would be. If you want to make money using blogs, you have to treat is as a business and a business requires work.

To be a success at earning money with blogs, you will need a lot of traffic. The more traffic that comes to your blog, the more likely you are to make sales. However, obtaining the regular visitors that you need isn't easy. Because more blogs are started each and every day, there is a lot of competition. You need to keep your content fresh, unique, informative and interesting. Once people know that you have content on your blog that is updated regularly with useful information, they will return to your site. However, as mentioned above the "if I build it, they will come" approach just doesn't happen.

You also have to market your blog. You can have the most interesting and informative information there ever was put on a blog, but if you don't get visitors to your blog, who is going to read it. If you have a brick-and-mortar business, you advertise. A blog needs to be treated the same, you advertise.

You need to spend time getting your blog noticed. Take some time to visit other blogs and making a comment or visit forums related to your blog and make a post. Always be helpful and informative, and be sure to add your blog address with your signature, thereby creating a link to your blog.

If you're an affiliate, try writing a review of the affiliate product you are marketing. You might find that it will get added to the products sales page if the review is honest and informative. Again, be sure to add your blog address with your signature.

It may take several months to build the traffic to make your blog profitable. Make a realistic plan and stick with it. To keep on track, make a daily schedule. Spend a set amount of time adding content to your blog, writing articles, visiting other blogs, visiting forums, and, if you are an affiliate, reviewing products to promote. Set a goal and when that goal is reached, set another one. Don't set unrealistic goals as this will only discourage you. Don't get discouraged, it takes time to build traffic to get the readers you want.

Earning money with blogs is a business. It takes time and patience to build a successful blog. It doesn't matter if you are a marketing genius or have the best blog on the internet, success takes time. Staying motivated and setting goals will reward you with success.
